Custom Charmed Beeswax Taper

A single taper adorned with symbols particularly for you or a loved one.
The taper candle is both a humble and transcendent object, tasked with bringing light and a sense of enchantment to a wide spectrum of human experiences: from dinner parties and quiet mornings, to births, weddings and funerals.

On these candles, bespoke imagery is hand cut and embossed from very thin copper and affixed to the beeswax with gentle heat. As the candle burns, the ephemeral wax will fall away from the copper, leaving behind the lasting metal charms.
The copper charms on the candles are inspired by the beauty and spiritual significance of metal votives and talismans across time, such as the folk art traditions of Greek tamata and Mexican milagros, as well as ancient Scythian and Minoan jewelry and funerary adornments.

Each taper is 11 1/2" tall and 7/8" thick at the base, made with 100% beeswax.

Please never burn these candles unattended. The copper, while not flammable, can impact the flame. The tapers are hand dipped, and the charms are hand cut, slight variations may occur because of this.
