A limited edition hand-cut and embossed copper ornament. As they are hand drawn, each one is slightly unique.
Inspired by one of my favorite ancient art pieces, a carved stone bear as madonna nursing her cub, from the late Vinca culture, found in northern Kosovo and dated to the fifth millennium B.C.E. This piece is pictured in the last image.
Made with 5 mil thin copper sheet, a delicate piece that will develop a lovely patina over the years. 2 1/2 " x 5".
